Jason Graves announced as latest Far Cry composer

Jason Graves has recently been announced as the composer to the upcoming installment of the Far Cry series. Graves, who most recently completed the scores to Until Dawn and The Order: 1886, is a classically trained composer who is also known for his work in the Tomb Raider and Dead Space series.

Far Cry Primal will feature a unique range of organic nature sounds and tribal instruments based on the cultures that will be encountered in the game. Drawing on his experience as a percussion, it will feature a particularly strong percussion focus.

Starting on February 2, those who pre-order the soundtrack will receive one track from the album each Friday until the soundtrack is released internationally, along with the game, on February 23.

About the Author

A native and lifelong Texan, I currently work in software education while contributing news, reviews, and interviews to VGMO on the side. I love the feeling that comes with the discovery of a brand new soundtrack, and always look forward to the next rekindling of that excitement. Outside of VGMO, I enjoy playing piano, listening to classical music and film scores, and trying to go unnoticed in any stealth RPG I can find.
