World of Warcraft expansion music team includes Brower, Acree, and Bajakian

Pyramind Studios have announced that music team for the upcoming expansion World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor. Once again, Russell Brower will be serving as the audio director, music lead, and principal composer of the soundtrack, having led Blizzard’s sound team for seven years.

Several co-composers will feature on Warlords of Dreanor, namely Clint Bajakian, Neal Acree, Sam Cardon, Edo Guidotti, Eimar Noone and Craig Stuart Garfinkle. Once again, Acree led the cinematic compositions for the title and recently unveiled his music for the epic opening cinematic (see video below). Cardon and Guidotti have also worked on previous instalments of the series, and are reprising their role from Mists of Pandaria.

Clint Bajakian is the most prominent newcomer to the score. AGMA-winning composer has scored acclaimed orchestral soundtracks for the Uncharted, Star Wars, and Outlaws series. The former Lucasarts composer and SCEA music manager recently joined the Pyramind music team. The other newcomers include Eimar Noone, known as the conductor of The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, and Craig Stuart Garfinkle, who has contributed stock music to numerous television shows.

World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor will be released on November 13. The collector’s edition will feature the expansion’s official soundtrack. A digital soundtrack release is also expected, but has yet to be officially announced.
