Daemon X Machina composers announced

Nintendo’s E3 conference came with a trailer for Daemon X Machina, the stylized mech game from the team behind God Eater 3 and the director of the Armored Core series. The composers will be Junichi Nakatsuru and Rio Hamamoto, both of Bandai Namco Studios. Not much more information is available about either the game or the soundtrack, although the trailer below gives a sense for the game’s overall design and aeshetic.

Nakatsuru and Hamamoto have previously worked on series such as TekkenAce Combat Infinity, and Soul Calibur, alongside larger sound teams. This will be the first soundtrack from either in recent years that has not involved a larger ensemble of composers, and may result in a more cohesive sound; the music in the trailer is a heavy electronic-metal fusion. For more information about the game, including a more complete list of credits, visit the Daemon X Machina‘s official website here.

A native and lifelong Texan, I currently work in software education while contributing news, reviews, and interviews to VGMO on the side. I love the feeling that comes with the discovery of a brand new soundtrack, and always look forward to the next rekindling of that excitement. Outside of VGMO, I enjoy playing piano, listening to classical music and film scores, and trying to go unnoticed in any stealth RPG I can find.
