Ubiktune releases ZX Spectrum demoscene album

Ubiktune, the award-winning chiptune record label behind albums such as Preschtale and Soundshock, have released their latest album. The Blossoming Years is a compilation of tracks that ZX Spectrum demoscener Sergey Kosov (MmcM). According to the label, the compilation “shows the musician at the peak of creative powers and easily explains the cult following that he enjoys in the homeland”.

All music composed was composed for ZX Spectrum personal computer with Yamaha YM2149F sound chip in ProTracker 3. 18 of the tracks on the album were composed between 1999 and 2001, while there are also bonus remixes and new tracks. The album can be streamed for free and purchased for 5 USD at Bandcamp now.
