Legendary chiptuner C-jeff attached to sci-fi platformer Kickstarter

In 2012, we awarded C-jeff (aka Dmitry Zhemkov) an Annual Game Music Award for creating the incredible progressive rock chiptune album Preschtale. The Ubiktune record label founder is now marking his transition from composing original albums to composing game scores.

It has been announced that C-jeff is creating music for Temporus, a 2D sci-fi platformer featuring time travel. The title has recently launched a Kickstarter campaign and aims to reach a 20,000 USD goal. You can hear samples of his music below:

Those who pledge 30 USD or more will be eligible to receive a digital copy of his soundtrack for the game, in addition to the game itself and an art collection. Stayed for tomorrow, when we’ll be giving away copies of C-jeff’s latest album, Big Steel Wheels.

About the Author

I've contributed to websites related to game audio since 2002. In this time, I've reviewed over a thousand albums and interviewed hundreds of musicians across the world. As the founder and webmaster of VGMO -Video Game Music Online-, I hope to create a cutting-edge, journalistic resource for all those soundtrack enthusiasts out there. In the process, I would love to further cultivate my passion for music, writing, and generally building things. Please enjoy the site and don't hesitate to say hello!
