Kingdom Hearts music box album coming next week

VGM cover artist Video Game Music Box is set to release Music Box Classics: KINGDOM HEARTS, Vol. 1 one week from today.  Coinciding with the release of Kingdom Hearts III, this collection will feature fifteen music box covers of classic tunes from the Square Enix / Disney crossover series, from “Hikari” to “Treasured Memories.”

This album marks the tenth release from Video Game Music Box.  Previous projects include music box tributes to Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Trigger, among other titles and franchises.

Music Box Classics: KINGDOM HEARTS, Vol. 1 will be available for purchase on January 29 for $7.  In the meantime, Kingdom Hearts fans can check out a full preview of the album’s opener, “Dearly Beloved”, here.
