Hiroki Kikuta co-composes score for crowdfunded indie title

Hiroki Kikuta (Secret of Mana, SoulCalibur V) will pen tracks for the soundtrack for the recently-crowdfunded indie title Pixel Noir. The artist was attracted to the project after exploring the game’s “unique world and vision”.

Kikuta will pen the soundtrack for Pixel Noir alongside lead composer Kunal Majmudar, the game developer’s co-founder and a veteran of the fan-arrangement scene. He states that he is “completely breathless at this opportunity to work with one of my heroes”.

About the Author

I've contributed to websites related to game audio since 2002. In this time, I've reviewed over a thousand albums and interviewed hundreds of musicians across the world. As the founder and webmaster of VGMO -Video Game Music Online-, I hope to create a cutting-edge, journalistic resource for all those soundtrack enthusiasts out there. In the process, I would love to further cultivate my passion for music, writing, and generally building things. Please enjoy the site and don't hesitate to say hello!
