Final Symphony arranger creates orchestral score for Albion Online

Jonne Valtonen, best known for arranging orchestral concerts such as Final Symphony, Symphonic Fantasies, and Symphonic Shades, is also a veteran game composer. The classically-trained Finnish artist recently created the minimalistic orchestral score for Cities: Skylines, revisited his demoscene roots for AG Drive, and contributed music to for a Mobile Suit Gundam video game.

His latest work is Albion Online, a large-scale Medieval MMO set to enter Alpha later this month. Valtonen penned the entire orchestral score for the game and recorded it for full orchestra. A preview of the ambitious epic score can be heard in the game’s newly-released trailer above. Look out for more exclusive coverage of the soundtrack on the site in coming weeks.
