Abstraction’s Color Jumper soundtrack available on Bandcamp

The soundtrack to Color Jumper, the abstract puzzle platformer game, is now available for purchase on Bandcamp. Composed by Ben “Abstraction” Burnes, a Minneapolis-based artist with a large selection of original and soundtrack albums to his name, the score to Color Jumper is a relaxed, electronic accompaniment to the game.  Color Jumper combines the gameplay of titles like Super Meat Boy and Downwell with the visuals of INK; the game also comes with a pattern mode to enable colorblind players to enjoy the game as well.

The soundtrack contains each version of the music from each stage of the game while maintaining a generally casual and downtempo feel. Even the higher-energy tracks maintain a sense of tranquility.  Color Jumper is available on Bandcamp for 3 USD, or as part of the artist’s full digital discography for 35.70.

About the Author

A native and lifelong Texan, I currently work in software education while contributing news, reviews, and interviews to VGMO on the side. I love the feeling that comes with the discovery of a brand new soundtrack, and always look forward to the next rekindling of that excitement. Outside of VGMO, I enjoy playing piano, listening to classical music and film scores, and trying to go unnoticed in any stealth RPG I can find.
