Zelda Celtic album project Kickstarted by Symphony of the Goddesses conductor

Songs of Zelda: A Link to the Celts is a new project celebrating the music of The Legend of Zelda. The music will feature new interpretations of music from The Legend of Zelda by the DIT Irish Traditional Music Ensemble.

The project is being produced by recent VGMO interviewee Craig Stuart Garfinkle (composer of multiple Dungeons and Dragons projects) and Eimear Noone (conductor of Symphony of the Goddesses). This prolific husband-and-wife team also recently contributed to World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor and created the 2015 Dublin iDIG Music Fest that inspired this project.

Songs of Zelda: A Link to the Celts is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter and is already close to its goal.

About the Author

I've contributed to websites related to game audio since 2002. In this time, I've reviewed over a thousand albums and interviewed hundreds of musicians across the world. As the founder and webmaster of VGMO -Video Game Music Online-, I hope to create a cutting-edge, journalistic resource for all those soundtrack enthusiasts out there. In the process, I would love to further cultivate my passion for music, writing, and generally building things. Please enjoy the site and don't hesitate to say hello!
