The Megas release long-awaited LP, History Repeating: Red

After nearly two years since their last LP, Los Angeles-based Mega Man-influenced rock cover band The Megas have finally released their long-awaited conclusion to their retelling of Mega Man 3, “History Repeating: Red.”

The new album rounds off the story of Mega Man 3, featuring lyrics-infused hard rock covers of several of Yasuaki and Harumi Fujita’s robot master theme songs such as “Gemini Man” and “Hard Man,” along with an increased focus on Proto Man.

The entire album is available for preview and digital purchase on the band’s Bandcamp page for $10. Physical CD copies of the album can be purchased on The Megas’ official website, although those won’t be printed and shipped until late May.

The Megas, along with several other VGM cover bands like Nobuo Uematsu’s Earthbound Papas, are slated to perform at the upcoming Orlando Nerd Fest show in Florida on Aug. 8.
