BAFTA 2018 Music, Audio award winners confirmed

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has confirmed the winners of its Music and Audio Achievement awards at yesterday’s British Academy Games Awards via the organization’s official website.  BAFTA’s Music award went to Cuphead, while Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice took home the award for Audio Achievement.

Other audio-related honors for Cuphead this year include an award for “Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition” from the 2018 D.I.C.E. Awards and an award from the National Academy of Video Game Trade Reviewers for the “Original Light Mix Score, New IP” category.  Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice had previously won Best Audio Design at the 2018 Game Awards, along with an NAVGTR award in the category of “Use of Sound, New IP.”
