Sample Mirror War’s soundtrack featuring Kirioka, Namiki, and Sakuraba
Mirror War: Reincarnation of Darkness, a shmup-RPG hybrid from L&K Logic Korea, entered open beta last week. The producers of the game have since confirmed the composers of the game: Maki Kirioka (Zone of the Enders), Manabu Namiki (DoDonPachi), and Motoi Sakuraba (Star Ocean).
The lead composer and theme songwriter for the title is apparently Kirioka. The experienced musician left Yasunori Mitsuda‘s production company Procyon Studio in October 2013 to become a freelancer. Sakuraba’s contributions were two progressive rock battle tracks, whereas Namiki brought his trademark electronic sound to several tracks.
Samples of each of their work are available above, courtesy of the developers. A soundtrack release is being considered and will depend on enough fans requesting one.
