Mighty Acorn Music releases “Sea of Dreams”

Composer Mighty Acorn Music has recently released his album Sea of Dreams on Bandcamp, which combines tracks from several games that Mighty Acorn Music worked on. The 14-track album combines multiple styles, incorporating layers of pitched percussion instruments and synth chords for a generally relaxed and laid-back aesthetic.

Sea of Dreams includes tracks from games like Gone Wandering, an N64-inspired PC puzzle game; Islands of Chaos, an Kickstarter-funded mobile adventure game; and World of Hex, a multiplayer strategy game in which the players compete to take over the world. While many of the tracks on Sea of Dreams are originals, “Gone Wandering” accompanies the game of the same name, “Into the Cosmos” and “Smooth Sailin'” are a part of the World of Hex soundtrack, and the tracks under or around the one-minute mark were composed for Islands of Chaos.

Sea of Dreams is available on Bandcamp now for £6.
