Luc St. Pierre releases Thief Composer’s Cut on SoundCloud

Last month, Square Enix released a reboot of Thief for last-gen and current-gen consoles. Montreal-based composer Luc St. Pierre created an extremely dark and ambient soundtrack for the title, blending orchestral performances with gritty electronic samples. Sumthing Else Music Works released a Director’s Cut Soundtrack for the title last month.

Earlier today, Luc St. Pierre released a further 25 minutes of composer cuts from the soundtrack through SoundCloud. The music includes various in-game ambient and boss themes that weren’t featured in the soundtrack release, as well as numerous cinematic outtakes. A worthwhile listen for those who enjoy indulging in the moodier sound of video game scoring.
