Kageyama, Shimomura record orchestral soundtrack for smartphone RPG

Pokémon’s Shota Kageyama and Kingdom Hearts’ Yoko Shimomura have teamed up to create the soundtrack for new smartphone RPG Kurokishi to Shiro no Maou (roughly translated as Black Knight and White Devil). Pulling out all the stops for the title, they recorded the game’s soundtrack with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra at Rudolfinum, Dvorak Hall. A behind-the-scenes look at the recording and some first samples of the music can be heard in the video below.
