Tomoki Miyoshi and Kevin Penkin team up for Level 5 RPG

Since their award-winning debut on SoulCalibur V, Hiroaki Yura’s international music production company Creative Intelligence Arts have worked extensively on various games, anime, and albums. We can exclusively confirm that, among their current projects, they are producing the score for Majin Station, a fully-fledged iOS and Android RPG from the designer of Time Travelers.

Young prodigies Tomoki Miyoshi and Kevin Penkin will respectively write the background music and cinematic music for the title. Miyoshi’s orchestral and choral music for the trailer suggests that the score is deeply inspired by the title’s gothic aesthetic and storyline.

Earlier this year, Creative Intelligence Arts raised over a million dollars through Kickstarter to develop the indie J-RPG Project Phoenix, featuring the music of Penkin, Miyoshi, and Nobuo Uematsu. We also confirmed last week that Penkin and Uematsu are scoring Defender’s Quest II together.
