Chris Christodoulou announces vinyl release for DEADBOLT

Composer Chris Christodoulou has announced the release of a vinyl edition for DEADBOLT, his second collaboration with Hopoo Games.  The soundtrack, released alongside the game in 2016, fuses together several styles for a grungy, electronic, retro score.

“Instead of writing one piece at a time, I could keep the music open-ended and let material flow freely from one piece to another,” says Christodoulou of his freedom working on the score. “This came handy dealing with a multi-genre soundtrack that needed to sound cohesive and singular. The real treat of producing this album, though, was working with other musicians, all of whom have put their own stamp on the music in very meaningful ways. I hope you enjoy this edition, graced by this beautiful artwork, as much as we enjoyed crafting it!”

The vinyl is available for preorder now on Black Screen Records for 34 USD, with shipping expected to start in late June.
