Chipzel releases tribute album for Crypt of the NecroDancer

We revealed last week that some four digital albums were recently released for the rhythm game meets dungeon crawler Crypt of the NecroDancer. Today, a fifth album joined the lineup.

Chipped of the NecroDancer features 8-bit interpretations of most of the game’s soundtrack. These 20 remixes capture the catchy, danceable nature of the original music while providing fresh stylings and tonnes of character.

The arranger responsible was Chipzel, aka Niamh Houston, an AGMA-winning game composer and chiptune artist known for her works on titles such as Interstellaria and Super Hexagon. The album is available on Bandcamp for 8 GBP (or just 10 USD at current exchange rates).
