Black Ops composer releases military smartphone soundtrack

Sean Murray, the cinematic composer behind the Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: World at War, and True Crime series soundtracks, recently scored a new title. Released earlier this week, Breach & Clear is intended to bring a deep tactical military experience to smartphones.

For the title, Murray revisited the militaristic styles he developed on the Call of Duty series to emotional effect, combined orchestral samples with rich performances.

The artist has personally released the soundtrack for the title through digital retailers such as Amazon MP3.  The only problem? The soundtrack retails for 8.99 USD, which is a lot for a digital 26 minute album and significantly more than the game itself.
